We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the new ProJet 3500 HDMax and CPXMax Professional 3D Printers, and the release of new VisiJet® X plastic material. These new products are being publicly unveiled November 27-30, 2012 at EuroMold, Messe Frankfurt, Germany in Hall 11 stand D48

These two new additions to the ProJet 3500 family of printers provide new levels of performance with greater throughput, revolutionary ease-of-use, greater utility and enhanced reliability. They are the best ProJets yet and deliver the ultimate in performance, productivity and part quality. With the ProJet 3500 Max printers, you can now print full platform sized builds in the highest resolution modes providing more than 50% increase in throughput capacity and the ability to produce finest detail parts 2X-3X larger. The ProJet 3500 HDMax printer also includes a new HS high speed draft mode providing 20% faster build speed versus HD mode, and a new material changeover wizard that makes changing to different VisiJet materials easier, faster and more efficient

In addition to the great new performance features, the new ProJet 3500 Max printers are more accessible than any other 3D printer with our new Print3D App that allows the printers to be controlled remotely with your portable tablet device or smartphone. You can control the printer from anywhere with the same controls and capabilities you would have right at the printer providing complete freedom to go anywhere and stay connected and in control.

We also have enhancements "under the hood" to achieve new levels of performance and reliability. The new improvements include the following:

This revolutionary printed plastic is sturdy, tough and durable expanding the applications and opportunities for ProJet 3500 printers. VisiJet X has high heat resistance of 88°C right out of the printer without additional tempering to perform in high temperature applications such as silicone molding and elevated temperature prototype testing. VisiJet X parts have a beautiful white opaque color finish and look like injection molded ABS. This is truly the best VisiJet plastic ever! VisiJet X is formulated to run in ProJet 3500 SD, HD, HDPlus and HDMax printers.

We are now 3D Systems Geomagic!

At 3D Systems we are committed to improving and democratizing access to powerful and affordable 3D software solutions for the benefit of professionals and beginners alike. A key part of that commitment is to combine the Geomagic products and team into the 3D Systems Geomagic group and an initial step is that we have rebranded Geomagic Design products as Geomagic Design.

This means that the software will now be a core part of a much larger, yet highly experienced, software operation, making available additional support, development and training resources. It also means that the Geomagic Design products will ultimately be able to benefit from the other interesting and game-changing technologies in the Geomagic group that deliver 3D haptic modeling, reverse engineering, scanning, and inspection software.

We are all excited about this transition and foresee great possibilities in the future of the Geomagic Design software.
